Lola Sparrowhawk

Lola Sparrowhawk is an international award-winning author and a historian in the interdisciplinary world history genre. Her history specialty is integrating science, politics, and history into the story of human development. She has taught creative writing courses, given lectures, and facilitated writing groups for San Diego Oasis for the last ten years and presented history lectures for the past six years, with her current online history lectures being viewed by audiences from the West Coast to the East Coast. Her comprehensive history of the world won first place at the 2018 National Book Awards for Best History, and her thriller novel (first book in a trilogy) set in a future Middle East won second place for best political thriller of 2015 in the Beverly Hills International Book Awards.
