Russell Rowe has an eclectic assortment of interests which are reflected in his trainings and credentials. He received his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from USC in 1991, his master’s degree in Exercise Physiology from SDSU in 1997, and his associate degree in Jyotisha (Vedic astrology) from the American College of Vedic Astrology in 2004. He is currently a self-employed, certified personal trainer (through the American Council on Exercise, ACE, since 1994), a professionally certified Western astrologer (through the American Federation of Astrologers, AFA, since 2002), a certified Enneagram teacher (through Helen Palmer’s Enneagram Professional Training Program, EPTP, since 2003), and a qualified Myers-Briggs consultant (through the Center for Applications of Psychological Type, CAPT, since 2000). Russell also teaches an 8-week mindfulness meditation course and draws from the parallel teachings of numerous spiritual traditions. He has a passion for helping the whole person with his holistic, integrative approach to wellness (integrating our physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual dimensions). As well as conducting one-on-one consultations and private personal training sessions, Russell thoroughly enjoys giving lectures, workshops, and classes on a diverse selection of subjects.
