Sara Turquie

A Mexican-American Expressive Arts Therapist based in San Diego, California, and founder of Creative Healings. She trained at the Expressive Arts Institute in San Diego and earned her master’s degree from the European Graduate School ,  and has extensive experience guiding individuals and groups through creative processes that foster healing, self-expression, and personal growth.

Sara’s career spans diverse settings, including elementary schools, hospital rehabilitation centers for brain injury and trauma, and specialized programs for women on bed rest. She currently works at the Scripps Encinitas outpatient rehabilitation center for trauma, and in Solana Beach on a project named ROADS, where she facilitates creative and therapeutic programs for adults with disabilities. She also designs and leads workshops for diverse groups, tailoring each experience to meet the unique needs of participants.
