Veronica Mitchell

Veronica Mitchell is a writer and public speaker. She has had a column in The San Diego Union-Tribune and bylines in various media outlets. Veronica is a contributing author as an expert on older adults and cannabis in the book, Cannabis Conversations: From Confusion to Clarity. She is the primary caregiver for her parents. Ms. Mitchell is a seasoned businesswoman who previously founded corporations in Vail, Colorado, and San Diego, California. Veronica is from Brooklyn, New York. She grew up outside of Washington, DC in Montgomery County, Maryland. Veronica loves the outdoors and year-round activities that provide time in Nature.

Veronica is a member of the media which affords her access to report on scientific and medical cannabis conferences. Ms. Mitchell continues her advocacy and volunteer work for older adults and caregivers. Veronica is the Chair of the Caregiver Coalition of San Diego and has been a long-standing member for over a decade.

Veronica continues her freelance writing covering aging, cannabis, caregiving, and women’s health. Ms. Mitchell has published many articles on resilience, family caregiving, self-care, and navigating life transitions. Veronica is a lifelong learner. Ms. Mitchell loves public speaking and connecting with the audience.
