Melissa (Mia) Routh

Mia is a native San Diegan returning to the Rancho Bernardo area she grew up in after years studying and working abroad in Colorado, Oregon, Spain, Ethiopia and Haiti. She holds various degrees in Health and Exercise Science, Biomedical Science, Cellular and Molecular Biology, and Occupational Therapy. After finding her passion as an Occupational Therapist, she has worked in acute care hospital settings, skilled nursing facilities, intensive rehabilitation programs, and now provides in-home outpatient therapies through Unlimited Potential Rehab and Wellness. She holds a specialty certification in Parkinson’s Wellness Recovery (PWR!) and is a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP). Mia believes wholeheartedly in individualized client centered care and knows first hand the importance of empowering family members with education and training to help loved ones meet their goals and enhance quality of life for everyone involved.
