Coming Out as a Life-Long Process
As we continue with Pride Month, we are excited to announce a special, free lecture event taking place Tuesday, June 28 at 1:00 PM.
“Coming Out” As a Life-Long Process | Class 740
This will be a free fully-online, lecture-based presentation in which we will define what “the closet” is and why coming out is a stressful, complex and emotional experience for many in the LGBT+ community. Along with the personal challenges, we’ll discuss the larger social and political implications of coming out, especially for those later in life. This 20-minute presentation will be followed by Q&A. Everyone, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity, is welcome!
